Take That, Little Font

The words "very tiny" magnified on a page with small text

Writing in Gmail, I finally got tired of the too-small default font. It looks like 11-point type to me, but Gmail calls it “Normal”—which seems kinda judgy.

Anyway, here’s how to change it: Click the Settings icon, then “See all settings.” Under the “General” tab look for “Default text style.” Click the arrow next to the capital Ts, then choose a different size. Scroll down and click “Save Changes.”

Thanks for the clear instructions, Google—but no-thanks for abnormalizing a want for larger fonts.

Now I’m searching What percentage of the population considers 11-point type “normal”? No answers yet.
