Positively Sneaky

A postcard that reads "Aging is Living, There's no such thing as 'too experienced,' Every age is the right age, Retirement is not a requirement, Longevity is the best thing to happen in ages, Age is not the problem, ageism is the problem"

The first time I ran off a batch of postcards with the “AGING IS LIVING” yard sign messaging, I picked them up at FedEx and was beyond pleased with how pretty they looked.

Then, as I was leaving the store, a book caught my eye. It was about living longer, but the phrasing was focused on “staying young,” which is ridiculous. No matter how healthy/strong/vivacious you “stay,” it doesn’t make you younger.

So I snuck a pretty little bookmark into each copy.

My thinking was, whoever buys these (ageist) ideas should get a nice dose of positive age messaging, too.
