#Ageism AwarenessDay!

In 2023, Changing the Narrative asked some of us, What would a world without ageism look like? My response (may have) rambled a bit, but here’s what I tried to say!

Without ageism, we’d be more focused on our experiences and emotional growth, celebrating the personal development that only happens over time.  And we’d stop talking about wrinkles and gray hair as if that stuff matters.

Nobody ever made the world a better place by focusing on trivial outward changes. But when we focus on our inner growth, that can make a real difference.

After all, growing older is growing.
