And Now It’s Time
Betty Friedan published The Feminine Mystique in 1963, and it changed the world.
Wikipedia says it’s “widely credited with sparking second-wave feminism in the United States” and dedicates a long, long scroll of the screen to describing the book and its impact. It sold millions.
Thirty years later, she wrote The Fountain of Age, and hardly anyone noticed.
Wikipedia says it’s “a book written by Betty Friedan, who also wrote The Feminine Mystique. It is a study of aging and how people face aging.”
That’s it. Two sentences.
The Fountain of Age was ahead of its time.
Now it’s time.
