Healthy Stuff

September is Healthy Aging Month, a celebration whose purpose is to raise awareness about ways we can help improve our physical, mental, social and financial well-being as we grow older.

It’s a great opportunity to remember that certain behaviors and activities can have a positive impact on our health.

Exercising and eating well are on that list, of course. But it’s also helpful to remember that “healthy aging” isn’t limited to those who run marathons and eat kale.

One of the salubrious things we can do is take a bold stance against ageism—wherever we see it or hear it.
