Quite Reveal-ing

An assortment of photos showing people of varying ages

An Australian video shows a group of older adults describing themselves, then a group of younger adults selecting headshots of people—including those olders—who might represent positive attributes in advertising.

Unbeknownst to the youngers, it’s actually a social experiment: The olders are observing and hearing everything—starting with, “Let’s maybe eliminate the older guy.”

A personal trainer’s rejected—she doesn’t represent “fitness.” A drone pilot’s not “modern,” etc. At the big reveal, the youngers are quite embarrassed—but do get to meet the olders and learn something.

Not that it’s just “embarrassing”; but that judgments like this are ridiculous.
