We Get to Be Old

A hand holds out a notebook, over a creek with a dangerous-looking bridge crossing it. The words on the notebook say "Keep going."

In yesterday’s email …

I saw your yard sign and had to pull over to read it and calm down while my head exploded. Thank you!

Friends my age have started complaining about aging, and I’ve found myself saying, "Well, that's the best-case scenario, we get to be old." People stop in their tracks, like they've never thought of it that way.

Anyhow, thank you for your work. I sent your blog to my mom, who lives in a retirement community. If you see a request for a large number of yard signs, it's her.

Hooray! Let’s keep spreading the word!
