Peeps on a Mission

The Caddis Eye Appliances catalog, with an older woman walking outdoors and kicking one foot up high, and the words "Welcome to the New Age."

“Over 40.” That’s what I called my eyes when I got reading glasses.

But first, I’d do that thing where I’d hold things far away—especially menus—and people around me would do that thing where they’d ask if my arms are long enough, and laugh. Actually laugh at my new disability. Dorks.

Caddis eyewear takes that subject on with their marketing campaign. They call themselves “A mission disguised as eyewear.” And they say “Get older. Own it. See stuff.”

It benefits them, of course, but I love it all the same.

Hey, world—more pro-aging promotions, please.
