Shining a Light

Have you seen the video “For Her Age” from SoulPancake (now Participant) and AARP? I highly recommend it—so I’ll try not to spoil it here.

In this short film (just 3:34 minutes long), several women are asked to come up with mayyybe-harmless-sounding comments that involve age. Then they’re asked to read similar statements with a slightly different focus—and emotions get tense.

By the end, it becomes clear that the age statements were pretty disagreeable all along.
