Thirty days ‘til Ageism Awareness Day, and we don’t need to wait until Oct. 9 to start sharing our stories and why we want to #StopAgeism.

Here’s mine: In my late 40s, I discovered firsthand that all the stuff I’d heard about employers not wanting to hire older adults with experience was true.

As I learned more, I decided to become part of the solution through advocacy, writing, and speaking/training.

Plus, it’s a role no one can say I’ve “aged out” of. (Strategic, eh?)
